Ultimate Teriyaki Sauce

This marinade is perfect for grilled chicken and grilled pineapple. Chicken is best if marinaded over night. I double the recipe so there is always some on hand.

15oz (one bottle) soy sauce
2 cups sugar
3 chopped green onions
1 minced garlic clove
2 teaspoons ground ginger

Dissolve sugar in soy sauce over medium heat. Once sugar is dissolved add remaining ingredients. Remove from heat and store in a glass jar.

2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups semisweet chocolate chip minis
